What is a vacation order?

The Board makes a vacation order if it decides that a person got their protected person status by ‘misrepresentation’. This includes saying something that is not true or leaving out important information in their refugee claim.

This means they could be forced to leave Canada, even if they have permanent resident status. This could happen no matter how long they have been here.
